 ING GRADES 6 AND HIGHER\nPurpose\nThe goal of this program is to educate s
 tudents in Grades 6 and higher in childcare safety\, First Aid\, CPR and b
 abysitting responsibilities. This course will provide the tools to become 
 a confident\, reliable\, and trustworthy babysitter.\nCourse Description\n
 This course will focus on the responsibilities of a babysitter\, growth an
 d development of a child\, and toy safety. Students will complete and beco
 me certified in the American Heart Association Pediatric First Aid course\
 , including management of choking emergencies.\n\nWe’ll be practicing ba
 sic childcare\, including diapering and feeding. [Please borrow a doll to 
 bring to this class]. Students will learn and become certified in the Amer
 ican Heart Association CPR and AED training course as part of Bootcamp tra
 ining.\n\n 	Students must attend both days\; those who do will receive wa
 llet size certification cards for First Aid\, CPR and Babysitter Training.
 \n 	All resource materials are included.\n 	Snacks will be provided. Pack 
 a healthy lunch each day.\n
